Heute mal wieder lustiges Rätselraten, diesmal zu einem Plakat, das wirklich einmal im Flughafen Stansted hing: Wer kann sich denken, was Ausgangspunkt der Übersetzung "vordergründig London" im Englischen war?
Für alle, denen die Schrift zu klein ist: Rechts neben der (verkehrt dargestellten) deutschen Flagge steht Folgendes:
"Die schnellstens Weise zur hauptsächlich Hotel und Herberge Flächen über vordergründig London."

Checking their website and comparing the equally literal translation below the German line, it has to be a translation of:
The quickest way to the main hotel and hostel areas of central London.
But how 'of central' got to be 'vordergründig', I'm not sure (off-central??).

not sure either - "across" came to mind, but that wouldn't really go with "area", would it?
